Sister Josie Fincher was born in Forsyth County, Georgia May 13, 1858 and died December 15, 1895. Sister Fincher professed a hope in Christ at old Concord Campground about 22 years prior to her death and joined the Baptist church at Friendship soon thereafter of which she lived a faithful and consistent member until her death. Sister Fincher died of the dreaded and incurable disease consumption. She lingered for over 12 months with the grim monster death staring her in the face; but never coming to dread him in the least; ever seeming to trust in the blood of the lamb. She expressed regret at leaving her husband and little children behind...
