Jack C. Darling Sr., 74, formerly of 507 W. Morrell St., died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter in LaSalle.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Riverview Cemetery. Cremation rites will be accorded.
He was born April 27, 1912 in Joliet, a son of James and Mary (Warfield) Darling. He married Ila Elmore on November 10, 1934 in Streator. She died August 31, 1981.
Surviving are a son: Jack C. Darling Jr. of Streator; a daughter: Penny (Paul) Reynolds of LaSalle; and four grandchildren.
He was employed as an electrician at Owens-Illinois Glass Company for 32 years, retiring in 1972. He resided in Streator most of his life and was a member of Central Church of Christ.
