Our precious Mother and MawMaw departed this life on October 29, 2011 and went to be with her Lord. She was born December 20, 1924 in Westville, Oklahoma to Dr. & Mrs. George W. Dickey.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Thomas Bull and their first born son, David Charles Bull.

She moved to Fort Smith in 1944 to attend St. Edward's School of Nursing. She retired from nursing after 44 years of service. She was a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle.


She is survived by her son Garry and his wife DeRonda Bull of Barling; her son Dr. Larry George Bull of Fort Smith and her daughter Janice Cooper of Fort Smith; her adopted daughter, Melinda McFerran of Fort Smith & her husband Bill; Grandchildren: Jennifer Britt of Fort Smith and her husband Aaron; Jayson Patrick Bull of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and his wife Angel; Eric Bull of Fort Smith and his wife LeeAnn; Rebecca Guthrie of Tulsa, Oklahoma and her husband Eric; Cami Sharits of Fayetteville, Arkansas and her husband Monte; Adam Bull of Elkhart, Indiana and his wife Stephanie; Brent Cherry of Conway, Arkansas and his wife April; Aaron Bull of Little Rock, Arkansas and his wife Claudia; Barbara Lauren Gourlay of Fayetteville, Arkansas and her husband John; Whitney Myers of Chicago, Illinois and her husband Ian.
Great grandchildren: Lauren, Layne, Chloe & Wyatt, Ian & Conner; Dakota & Tucker; Keegan & Garrett; Jacob, Juliet & Gabrielle; Thomas & Isaac.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1st, 10:00 a.m. at the Ocker Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oak Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR. The Reverends Kemp Holden and Glynn Craine will be officiating.


The Pallbearers will be: Jayson Bull, Eric Guthrie, Adam Bull, Aaron Bull, Ian Myers & John Gourlay.
