Services and burial were held in Sacramento, California, Tuesday, for Charles Worley "Chod" Harden, 67, who died there Sunday, according to word received in Topeka by his brother, Orval Henry Harden of 718 Buchanan.
He was born January 22,1881, in Wabash, Indiana and spent most of his life at Ozawkie and Topeka before moving to California four years ago. He was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Harden and Hannah Loretta (Ellis) Harden of Ozawkie.
Besides his brother Orval Henry Harden of Topeka, Kansas and Ova Hugh Harden of Martinez, California, he leaves his wife, Mrs. May Harden of Del Paso Heights, California; two sons, Everett and Billie of the home; two stepsons, Roy and John, a stepdaughter, Ruth and his father-in-law, Charlie Cripps of Topeka.
