Virginia B. 'Pinky' Dodge, 91, of Cuero passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009.

She was born February 24, 1918 in Villa Grove, Ill., to the late H. T. and Cora Reeder Benge. She was the Deputy District Clerk for Hutchinson County for over 15 years and a charter member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Dodge and wife Shirley of Cuero; grandchildren, Tim Dodge and wife Carolyn of Victoria, and Dawn Bade and husband Rodney of Cuero; and great-grandchildren, Stephanie Bade, Jason Bade, Mindy Schroeder and Chastity Carnley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy G. Dodge; and son, Roger H. Dodge.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009, 4 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Debby Lake officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made John Wesley United Methodist Church, Victoria or First United Methodist Church, Cuero, Texas.
