Died 11 p.m. Friday, April 29, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 77, a native of Hermanville and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1961. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 12:30 p.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by Father Charles Jenkins. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Thomas A. John Jr., Baton Rouge; a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Michael Gaudet, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas M., MD., and Laura John, Baton Rouge; and seven grandchildren, Amy Gaudet, Kindra Berteau, Sara Gaudet, Brittany Berteau, Aimee Berteau, Elizabeth John and John Gaudet. She was recreation director for the American Red Cross Facilities at Camp Shelby Hospital during World War II. She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Lukes Episcopal Church ScholarshipEndowment Fund, 8833 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, 70806.
