Bud F. Derby married Miss Gussie Smart, both of Mason, Texas, were married on 10 April 1923 in Fredericksburg. Following their wedding, the couple went to San Antonio where they spent a few days, after which they returned to Mason to make their home. Mr. Derby is a co-partner in the Manhatten Cafe and is an industrious and ambitious young man. His wife, Mrs. Derby, is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smart of Mason.
