OBERLIN, Kansas -- Bill Gene Goss, 78, died Wednesday (Oct. 26, 2011), at Porter Hospice in Centennial, Colorado.

He was born March 25, 1933, at Norton, Kansas, to Leland and Anna K. (Loper) Goss. He grew up in the Norton and Oberlin communities, attending school in Oberlin.

On June 14, 1953, he married Donna Witt in Oberlin. He was the owner of BG Welding Services and worked for Gates Rubber Company for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of Oberlin; a daughter, JoAnn Class of Englewood, Colorado; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at the United Methodist Church in Oberlin. A private family burial will take place at the Norton Cemetery in Norton.

Friends may call at the Enfield Funeral Home, 215 W. Main, in Norton, 3-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center in Centennial.
