Mrs. Rae Bowman Succumbs at 82 of Heart Attack
Mrs. Rae E. Bowman, 82, 210 South Garden Court, died at 11:20 Monday night at St. Joseph's Hospital. Death was due to a heart attack.
Mrs. Bowman was the widow of Leonard M. Bowman, who died in 1946.
She was born April 23, 1888 at Hutchinson, Kan., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pate.
Mrs. Bowman lived in Kansas until 1896, when she moved to Colton. She lived at Bishop, Wash. from 1909 until 1921 and from 1921 to 1924 at Touchet, Wash. She moved to Lewiston in 1924 and had resided here since.
She married Bowman at Pullman in 1909.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by three sons, Jack Bowman, Lewiston, William E. Bowman, Riggins, and Leonard M. Bowman, Eugene, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Barbara) Christopherson, Los Angeles; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow morning at 11 at the Brower-Wann Chapel. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.
