Mr. Conrad was born July 14, 1918
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Brinker of Colton, Calif., and Bonnie Elsasser of Russell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.,. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Wilson.

WILSON- Leo Conrad, 81, Wilson, died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Wilson Nursing Center. Mr. Conrad was born July 14, 1918, at Wilson resident since the early 1980's, moving from Russell and Missouri He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked for Deines Brothers Furniture store and was a refrigeration repairman. He was a member of the American Legion of Wilson and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign wars Post 6240, Russell, and Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, in 1983, and a son, Darrell. Survivors include two daughters, Sue Brinker of Colton, Calif, and Bonnie Elsasser of Russell; a sister Ann Trausch of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wilson; the Rev. Jim Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Wilson City Cemetery.
