Leslie E. Estes Sr.
Leslie E. Estes, Sr. 74, Indianapolis, passed away Monday, February 23, 2004 at his home. Mr. Estes retired in 1995 as a Vice President for McFerran Kane Co. Inc. after 42 years of service. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus #3660. Mr. Estes married Lois Janet (Pearson) Estes on Sept. 26, 1953 in Logansport, IN and she survives.Other survivors include a son, Les Estes Jr.; daughters Patty Sharp (Gary) & Donna Estes; brothers Charles Estes of Upton, KY & J.D. Estes of Noblesville; Grandchildren Deena, Jeffrey, Johnny, Megan & Sarah; Great Grandson Danny. Calling will be Tuesday Feb. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at the Funeral Home Wednesday Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice.
