MARION - Mrs. Mary Vogel Cantey, widow of Joe S. Cantey, died Monday at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Smith Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born in Sumter, a daughter of the late E. W. Vogel and Bertha Augustine Vogel. She was a member of Marion Methodist Church and a graduate of Columbia College.
Surviving are one son, Maj. Joseph Robert Cantey of Tacoma, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. John A. Free of Newberry; two brothers, Dan A. Vogel of Charlotte, N.C. and Ernest M. Vogel of Columbia; and 1 grandchild.
