Bean, Norma Elden Callahan – age 71, of Louisville passed away at her home, October 16th of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Norma retired as secretary of the Communications Workers of America Local 3805 after 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. David E. Bean; father, L.K. "Bus" Callahan; mother and step-father, Frankie and Van Adams. Norma is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carolyne Callahan; nieces and nephews, Jeff Callahan, Christian Callahan, Suzette Lacy, and Lisa Hopson; many cousins including special cousins, Wanda Hill and Maggie Cole; very special friends, Barbara Roberts and Sue Stewart. Graveside service Friday 11:30 am at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View with Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
