Emma Zink Weaver, 93, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the Mennonite Home.

She was the wife of the late Elmer P. Weaver, Sr., who died November 26, 1996.

Emma was a homemaker. Earlier in her life, she and her late husband where standholders at Central Market and the former Southern and West End Markets, where they sold baked goods. They also were truck farmers.

Born in Mount Joy, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin P. and Lillian Dupler Zink.

Emma, along with her late husband, Elmer, enjoyed many years in church work. They attended Good Shepherd Mennonite Church. In more recent years, along with her husband, were members of New Haven Mennonite Church in Lititz.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley, married to Homer Boll, of Lebanon, Ruth, married to Kenneth Mellinger, of Willow Street and Darlene, married to James Boll, of West Liberty, KY; four sons, Elmer P., Jr., married to Martha Groff Weaver, of Lebanon, Leslie H., married to Elsie Fulmer Weaver, of Harrisonburg, Melvin R., married to Norma Kreider Weaver, of Lancaster and John W., married to Vilet Ruth Dye Weaver, of Stuart, FL; 40 grandchildren; 123 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren and one brother, Paul Zink, of Paradise.

She was preceded in death several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at the Mellinger's Mennonite Church, 1916 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 10 AM with Bishop Luke E. Martin, Minister LeRoy Martin and Deacon Richard Boll officiating. Interment will be in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery, East Lampeter Twp., PA. Friends may call at the New Haven Mennonite Church, 108 Chestnut St., (Lexington), Lititz, PA on Friday evening between 6:00 and 8:00 PM and also at Mellinger's Mennonite Church on Saturday between 9 and 10 AM.
