On January 10, 1942, Wanda was united in marriage to William Brady Todd in Butler, Missouri.
Wanda was a homemaker. Later she was employed at the Russell Five & Dime, McClain Brothers Electric and Noe's Jewelry all of Harrisonville. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Harrisonville. Wanda loved to read, listen to Bluegrass, go to garage sales, crocheting and cooking as she was known for her fried chicken, gravy and biscuits. Wanda's greatest love was taking care of her family, playing with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren an even getting in the floor to play with her great-great-grandson. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Todd on September 14, 2010; two brothers, Raymond and Billy Stephens; a sister, Mary Lou Stephens.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Darlys Bremer of Peculiar, Missouri; two grandchildren, Dana Marie Bremer of Peculiar, Missouri and David Bremer and wife Diane of Dixon, Iowa; three great grandchildren, Brady, Kirsten and Jon; a great-great-grandson, Connor; a brother, Jim Stephens of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Helen Hedrick and husband Bill of Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
