Ann Elizabeth Ayres was born Jan. 8, 1825 in Alabama to John B. Ayres, Sr. and Frances Snyder. She died in Henderson County, Texas June 30, 1889. She never married. The 1860, 1870, and 1880 census's show her living in Anderson County, Texas with her sister Laura Caroline Ayres Miller. They came from Tippah County, MS. Her headstone is in the Miller plot.
