Sapulpa Daily Herald, Thursday Jan. 30, 2003, pg 2 Funeral services for Alvetta Jean Self Johnson will be held at 2 pm Feb 1, 2003 at the United Methodist Church in Kellyville… Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery. Mrs Johnson died on JAn 25, 2003 in Chugiak, Alaska at the home of her daughter. She and her husband were residents of Tulsa and had recently moved to Alaska. Born Feb 1, 1934 in Bristow to Z. B. (Chuck) and Estelle Clay Self. Proceed in death by parents, son Virgil Anthony (Tony)Johnson and a grandson, Brian Burks. Survived by her husband, Virgil (Bud) Johnson of Chugiak, Alaska; one daughter, Hallee Burks and husband, David. Sons, Mitchell Johnson and wife Debbie, of Oklahoma City, Charles (Chuck) Johnson and his wife,Betsy of Overland Park, Kan. and Jeremy Johnson (Jill), Lawton; two sisters, Louise McGuire (Carlos), Sapulpa and June (Sam) Nelson, Kellyville. Several grandchildren and great-grandchild. Smith Funeral Home - arrangements.
