May, 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gerard, while playing about the yard at her home, 416 Fifth Street, accidentally fell into a cistern and drowned shortly after 6 o'clock Monday evening. Although dragged from the cistern by people who had seen the accident but a few moments later, the child was dead when physicians arrived and efforts to recuscitate her were unavailing. Besides the parents, she leaves one brother and one sister.
