Suggested edit: Theodore A. Barthelmes, 76, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003. He was born March 22, 1927, in Erie, son of the late Theodore William and Leona True Barthelmes. Retiring in 1997, he worked with the state of Indiana's housing bureau for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, David and Michael Barthelmes; a daughter, Lynn Orbin; and two grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
