Married Emma Caves born Waukesha,Wisconsin Feb 14, 1850 died Corning May 26,1933. Father was Denison C. Richmond born 1807 and Mother was Orrilla Richmond born 1812. According to census records he had an adopted son Johnnie Richmond born 1896 who was the son of Harold Richmond.

Ellison Daniel Richmond, 85, resident of Proberta for the last 20 years, passed away this morning at the Sisters Hospital in Red Bluff after an illness of one day. Mr. Richmond had been in excellent health until stricken with influenza and was taken to the hospital yesterday. His condition at that time was not considered alarming. Deceased was born May 11, 1849. He came to California 23 years ago, settling first in Riverside from which place the family moved to Proberta where he engaged in ranching. He is survived by a son, John Richmond, of Baird, and a sister in law, Mrs. M. M. Lamphear, of Proberta. His wife passed away in 1933. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The remains are in the Corning mortuary.
