Mr. Michael John Beaumont, age 49, of Roswell, GA, passed away on September 29, 2011, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of Elsa Games Beaumont and the late Thomas Wilson Beaumont, Jr, Michael was born on October 20, 1961 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was a 1984 graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Business Finance. Michael worked as a Realtor and real estate appraiser in Atlanta, and was most recently employed by Quicken Loans. Michael married Janet Carol White of Sumter, South Carolina on September 12, 1992. They share two beautiful daughters, Ryley Amanda (14) and Victoria "Tori" Ann (12). Michael is survived by an adoring family; sister, Madeline and (Robbie) Wirt of Gainesville, GA; brother, Tommy and (Terri) Beaumont of Bluffton, SC; and sister, Jennifer and (Matthew) Lossing of Savannah, GA; mother and father in-law, Jim and Gayle White; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and (Melissa) White and Marsha and (Jim) Jones, all of Sumter, SC. Michael was blessed with the gift of playing the piano and over the years was a member of various bands. He also shared his gift with the members of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Community Center where he played regularly for the last 14 years. Michael was known for his sweet and kind disposition. His smile lit up a room and he brought joy to all those who knew him. During his illness, Michael was lovingly cared for by his devoted wife Janet and surrounded by the love of his precious daughters, Ryley and Tori. Michael was comforted by the support of his church family at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, where he and Janet were members of the church choir, and where he nurtured his strong faith in the Lord. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 3rd at 11 am at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 4385 Lower Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30068. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
