Aged Gildford Resident Dies of Exposure
Havre, March 6--Chris Christensen, 81, long-time resident of Gildford, died of exposure and exhaustion Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Borlaug, seven miles north of Gildford.
The aged man was noticed missing from his room and the Borlaug family started a search. Members of the family found Christensen exhausted about a mile from the house where he apparently had gone for a walk. They took him home but he died in a short time.
Christensen was a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, and came to Montana in 1912. Mrs. Christensen died in 1936 and is buried here.
Survivors besides Mrs. Borlaug, include a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Kukuruda of Crafton, Pa.
