Brian Patrick Webster: Newspaper Obituary

Register-Star (Hudson, NY) - July 9, 2010
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brian Patrick (Webby) Webster, 17, of Robin Rd., Kinderhook, died Monday July 5, 2010 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield from a drowning accident at Queechy Lake in Canaan.
Brian is and always will be the light in his Mom's life. He was born in Albany, NY, June 27, 1993, and was about to enter his senior year at Ichabod Crane Central School and was also enrolled in the Questar 3 Mechanical Technology program in Greenport. He was a funny, smart, fun, loving boy who was taken from us too soon. His future will never be realized except by the plan of God. He is survived by his mother Theresa C. (Ether) Hoffman, Stepfather Donald E. Hoffman Jr., brother, Nicholas D. Ether, stepsister, Heather D. Hoffman, Father Robert P. Webster Jr., grandparents Joseph & Patricia Ether, grandmother Sandra Reynolds and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert P. Webster Sr. (Poppie), great aunt Alice Ether, and second cousin Matthew Lentz. May they guide, watch over him and keep Brian safe. You will be loved and missed every day my beautiful boy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am from the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie with the service conducted by Rev. Dr. Nancy McClure-Long. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Stuyvesant Falls. Family and friends are welcomed to our home after the cemetery service to remember and celebrate Brian's life. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. If you would like to donate in Brian's name, please consider your local fire and rescue squads and the New York State Police. Our family would like to thank you all for your heroic efforts to recover my son from the lake and trying to bring him back to us. God bless you.
