Listed as a livestock dealer on the 1910 Census. He also raised and raced horses on the County Fair circuit in Missouri, Illinois and Arkansas.

Died at age 44 of food poisoning in the days before refrigeration. Son Durward became a building maint. man and serviced the first air conditioned building in St. Louis.

Zeno's wife Maud was Zeno's 2nd cousin once removed via Yeargain line.

Zeno was probably named after Zeno Westover, his mothers grandfather.
