Emma Pauline Rogers, 80, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Lakeshore Village Nursing Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Chaplain Kevin Avery officiating. Interment will be 3 p.m. Monday at Roselawn Cemetery, in Seagoville. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Emma was born in Frankston, Texas, to the late Ernest Henry and Minnie Elizabeth Grubbs. She married William Eldon Rogers on May 4, 1948. Emma had a great smile and strong, loving personality and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Salvation Army Corp.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William Eldon Rogers; three sisters; and seven brothers.

Survivors include son, Ray Rogers and wife, Lezlie, of Waco; daughters, Sherron Kroeger, of Ivanhoe, Texas, and her fiancé, Jackie Moyer, of Waco, Peggy Stephens and husband, Ron, of Point, and Tammie Chastain and husband, Rex, of Ferris, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers; several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
