FRIEND W. MORGAN DIES AT NEKOMA
Funeral services were held Wednesday for Friend W. Morgan, 71, of Nekoma. Mr. Morgan died at his home at Nekoma at 8 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Morgan, a farmer, has lived in the Nekoma community for many years.
He was united in marriage to Myrtle Stephens of Alexander June 10, 1903. To this union seven children were born. One son preceeded (sic) him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; five daughters, Mrs. Elmer Boese of Alexander, Mrs. Pete Scheuerman, Mrs. Joe Schrott and Mrs. John A. Graham of La Crosse and Mrs. Q. E. Quesenbury of Wichita; one son, Friend E. Morgan of Alexander and a sister, Mrs. Belle Hallett of Rush Center.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O. F. Bussart at Pittman funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial was in the Locust Grove cemetery in Rush Center.
