CITIZEN DIES EARLY TODAY

After suffering a stroke Sunday, Ira Allen Fly, 73 years old, died at his home in the Oak Grove community this morning at 12:30. Funeral services will be conducted at the Oak Grove church Friday afternoon at four o'clock with interment in the Oak Grove cemetery.

Mr. Fly moved to Poplarville about 11 years ago from Tillatoba. He was born at Coffeeville October 5, 1868, the son of Fletcher and Annie Woody Fly. He was a member of the Nazarene church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Smith Fly; six children, Mrs. Ellis Howle, Truman Ark., Mrs. Loyce Howle, Lake City, Ark., Mrs. Albert Odom, Mrs. Nick Odom, both of Poplarville, Stevenson Fly and Maude Emma Fly, of Poplarville; three brothers, Manch Fly, Coffeeville, Bond Fly, Webb, and Stevenson Fly, Coffeeville; and two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Wood, Water Valley, and Mrs. Tom Mooney, Coffeeville.
