Funeral Services for Eugene Staub, 77, Trenton N.J., formerly of New Oxford who died in the Mercy Hospital Trenton, were held Thursday at William A. Fieser Funeral Home, Hanover, followed by a requiem mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles E. Park was celebrant. Military rites in the parish cemetery were conducted by Hanover Post 14, American Legion.
Mr. Staub was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ambrose Staub, and the husband of the late Mrs. Amelia (Richstein) Staub. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Trenton. A veteran of the Spanish American War, and a retired employee of the Western Maryland Railway. The last surviving member of his family, he leaves an adopted daughter Mrs. Ma[r]y Louise Slagle, Trenton, and a number of nieces and nephews in this vicinity.
