Mary Elizabeth Akins Mosley - SAVANNAH - Mary Elizabeth Akins Mosley, 73, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her residence in the presence of her loving family. The Chatham County native was a homemaker and ran a full service station with her husband for 50 years. She kept a loving home for her husband and girls and was preceded in death by her parents, Claude T. Akins and Dorothy Burke Jones. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Pete Mosley of Savannah; daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Pittman of Guyton and Elizabeth (James) Murray of Pembroke; grandchildren, William Pittman, Krystena Murray, and Trey Murray; sisters, Margaret Fowler of Pooler and Delores Boling of Pt. Wentworth; and her sweet little puppy, Tiger, they loved each other greatly. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel.
