Francis Creekmore was actually born in Campbell County, Tennessee in an area that would in 1849 become Scott County, Tennessee.

Francis served in the Civil War, 2nd LT Co. G 49th Kentucky Infantry.

There are a couple of sources on the internet (not family trees) which cite different dates of death.

Kentucky death certificate completed by son, Alexander Z. Creekmore indicates date of death was June 8, 1926. Cited birth as Kentucky and not Tennessee. There was no doctor present and A.Z. didn't name Francis' mother, just father as Berry Creekmore.

On the application for military headstone, again completed by A. Z. Creekmore, it states date of death as June 15, 1926.

Francis was married twice: (1) Permelia Cain (2) Mrs. Lettice Lovett (or Lovitt). Her name in the marriage record was Letticia Lovitt.

Lettice applied for a widows pension based on Francis' Civil War Service on July 24, 1926. Her name in that record was Lettice.
