ENOSBURG FALLS – Eunice (Adams) Blouin, age 73, passed away at Our Lady of the Meadows Community Care Home in Richford on October 25, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Sutton, NH on September 2, 1938 the daughter of the late Leslie & Clara (Dunham) Adams.

Eunice was a 1956 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she had served as a Catechism teacher. She also volunteered her time for 10 years on the Enosburgh Ambulance Service and more recently at the Enosburg Falls Food Shelf as well as the Tuesday Soup Kitchen at the Dairy Center to benefit the food shelf, the Meals-on-Wheels program, and the Day for Mom Program at the Dairy Center while the local National Guard was deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and painting and belonged to various card clubs. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing and playing softball. Most importantly she loved to watch and support her grandchildren in their sports endeavors.

She is survived by her children, Beth Anne Higgins and her husband Michael of Pollock Pines, CA, Aaron Blouin and his partner Sharon and her daughter Autumn of Morrisville, NC, Matthew Blouin of Madison, WI, and Damian Blouin and his wife Susan of Enosburg Falls; her beloved grandchildren, (Beth Anne's) Damian, Rachel, Mariah, Jared & Naomi, (Aaron's) Joel and his partner Karina and Emily, (Damian's) Calin, Derek & Carter; her great grandson, Trenton; her siblings and their spouses, Sherman & Leona Adams of Fairfax, Florence "Flossie" & Gene Powers, of Northport, FL, James & Janice Adams of Fairfield, Mildred & Calvin Carpenter of Fairfield, Carroll "Jed" Adams of Franklin, Leslie Adams of Pequea, PA, Murial & Richard Lavoie of Johnson, Franklin "Cookie" & Mary Adams of Richford, and Priscilla & Arnold Haydu of Bethel, CT; a special sister-in-law, Susie Adams of Richford; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Eunice was predeceased by her sister, Irene Adams; and her sister-in-law, Jeanne Adams.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 222 Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Roger Charbonneau officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Friday October 28, 2011 from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
