US Congressman. He attended Muskingum College Ohio, and then engaged in the radio broadcasting industry in Indiana, serving as program director, business manager and general manager, (1941-60). In 1961, he was elected as a Republican to the Eighty-seventh and Eighty-eighth Congresses, serving until 1965. Not a candidate for reelection, he helped form the American Conservative Union and was its first chairman. He also established Bruce Enterprises, a management and political consulting firm, serving until his death at age 48.
