A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Attaway was the widow of Herman Attaway. She was preceded in death by two sons, Myron Attaway and Glenn Attaway.
She was a shirt presser at Carwood Manufacturing and a member of Bethabra Baptist Church, Winder.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with the Revs. Robert Peevy, David Singleton and Bobby Brown officiating. Burial will be in Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Lavertus Williams Stephenson, Atlanta, and Dorothy Justice, Buford; a brother, Ralph "Hoot" Fleeman, Winder; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
