PLEASANT GROVE--Brent Roland Bowman, 39, of Pleasant Grove, died November 5, 1991, at American Fork Hospital, as the result of a train-auto accident.

Born March 15, 1952 in American Fork, Utah to James Melvin and Joy Rae Sabey Bowman. Married his sweetheart, Jolene Rees December 11, 1978, in Pleasant Grove, Utah; marriage later solemnized, Manti LDS Temple, April 19, 1980. Graduated from American Fork High School. Employed as a salesman and regional representative at RosKelley Supply Co., Salt Lake City. Active member and Elder in the LDS Church, serving as Sunday School Counselor. He had served as Deacons' Quorum Advisor, Primary and Sunday School Teacher, and a Counselor in the Young Men and Elders' Quorum. He was an expert wood-cutter. Loved all sports including hunting and fishing.

He will be remembered by family and friends for his loving nature and unique sense of humor. He was a loving and caring man and will be greatly missed by all.

Survived by his wife, Pleasant Grove; six children, Matthew Brent, Rachel and Kelsie, all West Jordan; Nicholas and Stacey, Pleasant Grove; Dana, Aurora, Colorado; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Melvin Bowman, American Fork; sisters, Mrs. Allen (Linda Jo) Clegg, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Alan (Sharon) Hebbert, Brigham City; grandmother, Mrs. Elsie Leora B. Doyle, American Fork. Preceeded in death by a brother, Randy.

Funeral Saturday, November 9, 1991, 1 p.m., Pleasant Grove 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 745 North 600 West. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the ward, Saturday, one hour prior to service. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
