On the 1900 US Census for Dutch Fork, Lexington, SC, 23yo Naomi (enumerated as Nonie E) is living with husband Davis T 39 and children Marvin P 11, Robert T 4, David B 3 and Lula C 3/12 and a servant. If this census is correct, they have been married 12 years, making Naomi a bride at age 11 and a mother at age 12. She is the mother of 4 with 4 living. By 1910, they have four more children: Minnie L 7, Ruby 6, Fannie J 4 and Lina 2. By 1920, there are three more: Carrie B 9, Vinnie T 6 and Dolly G 4 and 4/12. Per her son Brady Davis Weed's death certificate: his parents were Davis T Weed and Naomi Folk, who was born in Lexington County, SC. Per the 1880 US Census for Fork, Lexington, SC, 3 yo Naom(a)i is living with parents Charlie and Frances Folk both 25, and her brother Jesse.

Found in The State 21 January 1924: Mrs. Nonie Folk Weed, wife of David Weed of Irmo, died yesterday morning at her home, after an illness of about three weeks. Mrs. Weed was born October 15, 1876. She united with Shady Grove Methodist church in early life. She was married to Davis Weed, December 8, 1895. Everything human hands could do was exerted in an endeavor to make the last years of Mrs. Weed's life comfortable. Her death cast a gloom both over the immediate family and a number of friends. Surviving Mrs. Weed are eight daughters, two sons, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Salem Methodist church this afternoon at 1 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. H. W. Sanders, Mrs. Weed's pastor, assisted by the Rev. H. H. Pressley.
