Mrs. Lois Dean Clark Taylor, age 93, of Mayfield, KY passed away at 3:25 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Mills Health & Rehab Center in Mayfield, KY. She was a retired custodian from Mayfield High School having formerly worked at the Merit and Andover Clothing Companies in Mayfield. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

Mrs. Taylor was a loving Christian woman and faithful servant of the Lord. She was known for her homemade banana pudding and love of ice cream. Saturday night meals with her friends was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed telling others about them. She cherished those who called her "G G Maw".

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son - Rickie (Gayna) Taylor of Mayfield, KY; three grandchildren – Andrew Taylor of Draffenville, KY, Matthew (Hannah) Taylor of Memphis, TN and Jenny Taylor of Memphis, TN; six great-grandchildren – Mattingly, McCoy, Blake, Mary Ella, Olive and Brooks; one sister – Marilla (Jerry) Steele of Mayfield, KY and one brother – Billy (Jane) Clark of Wildersville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years – Henry Carlton Taylor; two sisters – Mary Waggoner and Joann Leonard and her parents – Alvin & Willie Mae (Pinner) Clark.

Funeral services for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Chris Kemp and Billy Clark will officiate with burial to follow in the Macedonia Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Tim Waggoner, Kenny Waggoner, Benny Waggoner, Cody Leonard, Algene Steele and Brent Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Rexal Leonard, Marty Leonard and her great-nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: New Pathways for Children, 3311 Shaw Road, Melber, KY 42069 or to Northside Church of Christ Youth Fund, 711 Housman Street, Mayfield, KY 42066.
