La Verne Harding's art style had
a rounded,cutsie cartooning style.
Harding worked hard to alter her
style so it did not resemble an
overly feminine theme and presented
a more "boldly" drawn presence,
in a more 'mannish' style.

Laverne worked with many
influencial associates including:
* Walt Lantz,
* Bill Nolan,
* Tex Avery,
* George Grandpre,
* Virgil Ross,
* Burt Gillett,

Upon news of La Verne Hardiing's
demise, the famous cartoonist
Walt Lantz said of his friend
and former employee

'Mens Club attitude regarding
the better cartoonist),
"Most producers thought women
could draw only birds and bees
and flowers. They were wrong
of course."

She was considered the
'first woman animator',
however, Lillian Friedman
began working for Fleisher's
