Mrs. White split her time among all her children, living with Elijah Roach White until his death in 1914.
In the 1910 Census, she reveals she bore 12 children, of whom 5 were then living. Five sons then living were:
- William Andrew White, Raleigh Thomas White, and Elijah Roach White, both of Corbin, KY.
- David Maxwell White, then of Louisville, Kentucky and later of Richmond, Indiana.
- James Herbert White, then of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and later of Lee County, Virginia.
Her only daughter, Bessie White Spence, died in 1905 in Richmond, Virginia, and it is believed the other sons died in childhood.
Upon the death of son William in 1915, whose wife had preceded him in death in 1914, she took upon herself the raising of her grand daughter, Joe, and grandson, William Robert while living in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee, where she died on 23 July 1920.
