According to family history, Radford is buried close to his father, Marvil Jiles Tidwell in Hood County, Texas at the Rock Church Cemetery.

Radford Jiles Tidwell, b. 6 April 1832, Dickson Co., Tennessee; d. 30 Apr 1904, Hood Co., TX; buried Rock Church Cemetery, Hood Co., TX (unmarked grave).

IMPORTANT - Please take notice of the following: There has been a long-existing problem in matching Radford's children with their birth mothers. The census records show two different wives named Martha A. (viz., one was born in 1836 and the other in 1841). The following includes some speculations together with census records and family traditions in weaving together all that is known so far.

Radford apparently married three times. The 1860 census shows him with a woman named Martha A. Tidwell, but she could not be the Martha A (Holmes), the mother of Bly, Frank, Tebe, and Ixorah because the woman in the 1860 census of Lamar County, Texas is 24 years old (Radford was 27 at the time). Also, Martha A. Holmes is listed in the 1860 census just over a month earlier on 22 August 1860 in Newton County, Missouri with her parents and was age 18. The enumeration of the Lamar County, Texas census for 1860 was on 9 October 1860. The 1860 census for Radford's family in Lamar County, TX lists:
Radford Tidwell, age 27, born in TN
Martha A., age 24, born in TN (so born about 1836)
Virginia C., age 4, born in MO (so born about 1854)
Tennessee, age 2, born in TN (so born about 1858) She would be Isabel Tennessee 'Tennie'
Matilda A., age 1, born in TN (so born about 1859) She would be Matilda Ann 'Tilda'.
Jones Tidwell, age 24, born in TN (This would be Radford's brother).
Giles Tidwell, age 21, born in TN (This would be Radford's brother).
Nat R. Harlan, age 55, born in TN (This is most likely Martha A's father, making her maiden name: Martha A. Harlan). So far I've not been able to locate anything more about Nat. R. Harlan. Perhaps someone reading this will be able to locate additional information via ancestry.com or some other resource.

Lydia Lamb (probably Radford's 2nd wife) appears on the 1860 Lamar County, Texas census, age 15 (so born 1845) and apparently living with someone other than her birth parents.

So it seems that the best way of matching Radford's children with their mothers is:
Radford would have married his first wife Martha A. Harlan on or before 1856. Their children:
Virginia C. Tidwell, Jennifer 'Jennie' Tidwell, Matilda Ann Tidwell. Then his first wife died and he married Lydia Lamb after 1860 and before October 1863 when her son Early 'Earl' Lorenzo Tidwell was born. Earl's death certificate names Lydia Lamb as his mother. She evidently died after October 1863 (when Earl was born) and before November 1866 (when Radford married Martha A. Holmes, marriage date: 23 Nov 1866). There remains a discrepancy in that Bly's birth on 1 October 1866 is before Radford's marriage to Martha A. Holmes on 23 Nov 1866. As far as I know family tradition has Bly's mother being Martha A. Holmes, however, I have no written confirmation of that.

So Radford married first a first Martha A. (unknown surname), then married Lydia Lamb, and finally married Martha A. Holmes. The first Martha A. was probably the mother of Virginia C., Jennifer 'Jennie', Isabel Tennessee 'Tennie', and Matilda Ann 'Tilda'. Lydia Lamb was the mother of Early Lorenzo 'Earl' (according to his death certificate. Finally, Martha A. (Holmes) was the mother of Winston Bly 'Bly', George L., Benjamin Franklin 'Frank', Stephen Jones 'Tebe', and Ixorah Arena.

Still there are issues. Early Lorenzo was born about 3 months prior to the marriage of Radford and Lydia Lamb while his death certificate lists Lydia Lamb as his mother. Winston Blythe 'Bly' was born about 2 months prior to the marriage of Radford and Martha A. Holmes.

Details concerning the first Martha A. as shown in the 1860 census of Lamar County, Texas are not otherwise known.

His second wife, Lydia E. Lamb (FindAGrave: 116110532), was born about 1836 in Dickson County, Tennessee and died around 1864. Burial place unknown.

His third wife, Martha A. Holmes (FindAGrave: 79210582), is buried in Isham Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas on John T. White Road.
