WARD.--Aaron S. Ward was born in Bolton, Quebec, Canada, February 15, 1818, and died in Lorain, Ohio, August 23, 1891. July 6, 1847 at Harrisville, Ohio, he married Miss Lucy Ann Ward. To them were born two sons--Fletcher DeLay and Gilman McKendree Ward. The latter died September 16, 1882. F. D. Ward is the only survivor of the family. He resides in Lorain, and is the Superintendent of Public Schools of the city. It was here that Brother Ward died, Early he gave his heart to Christ and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. He loved her doctrines, took her Bible for his guide, and amid exclamations of triumph life closed.
