NAMPA — Services for Lawrence Steven Ramer, 75, of Route 7, Nampa, who died
Wednesday in a Nampa hospital following a long illness, will be conducted of 2
p.m. Friday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Arthur R. Hauge, pastor of
the Calgary Baptist Church. Private family entombment services will follow in
the Building of Reverence of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

He was born May 30, 1900, at Brownville, Ark. His family moved to Eastern
Oklahoma when he was a small boy. He married Agnes Smith at Waynette, Okla., May
4, 1919. They moved to Melba in 1944 and farmed in the Melba, Kuna and Nampa
areas until he retired. He attended the Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of Nampa; two sons, Stanley of Renton, Wash., and Ray of
Anaheim, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Dorthy) McClure and Mrs. Walter
(Mary) Lee Opp, both of Nampa, and Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Tilden of Keenesburg,
Colo.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
his parents, a brother and four sisters.

The family suggests memorials to the Mountain States Tumor Institute in Boise,
or the American Cancer Society.
