She was born in Ora Township in Jackson County in 1893, and had lived in Granite City the past 27 years.
She was married in 1912 in Murphysboro to Monroe Anderson, who survives.
Mrs. Anderson also leaves one son, Homer of Granite City, two grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Walter Garver and Mrs. Ross Garver, both of Ava, Mrs. Raymond Woodward of Vergennes, Mrs. John Koen of Dupo, and Mrs. Charles Bricken of Granite City, and one brother, William Casteel of Ava.
Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava until the hour of services, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ava, the Rev. Roy Reeves and the Rev. H. G. Knaub officiating.
Burial will be in the Ava Evergreen Cemetery.
