Thomas Henry Sorrell
7/23/25 - 12/19/44
H Co. 506PIR/101st Airborne

70 years ago today you gave your life in the line of duty, in defense of freedom, at Foy, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge. At 19 years old, you demonstrated great bravery in support of a perilous mission. The pain of your loss is still felt. However, we've always taken solace in the knowledge that brave young men like you helped to advance humanity in the face of great inhumanity. You fell in war but rest in peace with 8,000 of your Brothers in Arms at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium. Time has only enhanced our gratitude for your legacy and appreciation of your sacrifice.
