County Resident For 50 Years Dies.

Mrs. Ida Mae Hartley, 91, Garden City, died Saturday at a Webster nursing home following an extended illness. She had been a Clark County resident for more than 50 years and had been at the rest home the past three and a half years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Garden City Methodist church with the Rev. Chrles McDowell and the Rev. Arnold LaRue officiating. BUrial was in the Garden City Cemetery.

Six grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs Hartley was born, April 20, 1870, in York County, Neb., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mosburger. She married William H. Hartley on March 16, 1887, at Carlyeton, Neb. In the fall of 1908, she moved to the Garden City community, Settling on a farm in Maydell Township. In 1943, she moved into Garden City where she had since made her home.

She was a member of the Garden City Methodist church and the Birthday Club.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Iva Young of Henry, Mrs William Fogel and Mrs. Albin Johnson, both of Wallace, Mrs. Vernon Young of Eden Valley, Minn., Mrs. Clarence Hughes of Vermillion; three sons, Robert and Cecil, both of Garden City, and Jessie of Clark; 32 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
