Mildred M. Walenga, age 92, late of Manhattan, formerly of Harvey and South Holland, died Thursday, January 30, 2003, at her home.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine [Fred Marolewski] Stelmaszek of Manhattan; one son, James [Emily] Walenga of Palatine; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Fornera of Steger.
Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and LuLu Farrel Wyre; five brothers, William, Charles, Cecil, Ellis and Leonard Wyre; two sisters, Mabel Wyre and Dorothy Krajci.
Funeral Services will be Monday, 10 a.m. February 3, 2003, from the Forsythe Funeral Home, 507 South State St., Manhattan. Pastor Jim McGuire officiating.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.
Visitation Sunday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
