Clyde W. BUNCH, 79, R.R. 1, Argos, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Klapp nursing home at Argos, where he had suffered a stroke about 6 a.m. Thursday.
Born Aug. 2, 1884 near Walkerton, he was the son of Nathan E. and Jessie J. FORSYTHE BUNCH. His marriage was in 1908 at Argos to Bonnie BECKER, who survives.
Mr. Bunch, a retired farmer, came to the Argos community in 1968. He was a former member of the Argos Lions club and also served on the Marshall County 4-H Fair Board for several years.
Surviving with the wife are two daughtrs, Mrs. Arthur (Bernice) HOWARD, Lowell, Mich., and Mrs. Paul (Doris) NIFONG, Argos; two sons, Cleatus W. [BUNCH], Anaheim, Cal., and Nathan G. [BUNCH], at home, and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm. Sunday in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the Rev. Arthur SCHENCK of the Argos Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the fneral home after 7 p.m. today.
