MRS. W. M. BABB DEAD
Mrs. Nannie Babb, wife of W. M. Babb, died yesterday morning at her home near Lakenan. She had been in poor health for about ten years, but had only been confined to her bed a few days.
Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Blackford, of this county, and was at the time of her death 58 years old. She is survived by her husband, six children, Mrs. J. B. Gray, of Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. F. H. Lydick, of Kansas City; Mrs. Olga Lear, of Lakenan; Vernie, of Gordon, Neb., and Miss Bessie and Lloyd at home.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock this morning, conducted by Rev. B. H. Cleaver, and the remains laid to rest in the Gilchrist cemetery.

Mrs. Nannie Babb, wife of W. M. Babb, died Tuesday morning at her home near Lakenan after a long siege of sickness and suffering lasting for about ten years. Mrs. Babb was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Blackford and was aged 58 years at the time of death. She is survived by a husband and six children : Mrs. J. B. Gray, of Omaha Neb.; Mrs. F. H. Lydick, of Kansas City; Mrs. Olga Lear, of Lakenan; Vernie, of Gordon, Neb., and Miss Bessie and Lloyd at home. Funeral services were held at the residence at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. B. H Cleaver, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Gilchrist cemetery.

Obituary.
Nancy Ida Blackford was born in Shelby county., April 28, 1856, and passed away at her home Aug. 25, 1914, aged 58 yrs., three months and 27 days. She was united in marriage to William Babb, Nov. 8, 1878. To this union ten children were born, six of whom live to mourn the loss of a lovinir mothpr. They are: Mrs. J. B. Gray, Omaha, Neb.; Verna, Gordan, Neb.; Mrs. Nan Jim Lydick, Kansas City; Mrs. Olga Lear, Lakenan, and Miss Bess and Lloyd at home. These and the husband were all with her during her sickness, except Verna, the older son.
Mrs. Babb had been a member of the McMurry Chapel Methodist Church for many years, although her poor health prevented her from any active church work. The funeral services at the home, two miles north of Lakenan, conducted by B. H. Cleaver, were largely attended. Burial was in the Gilchrist cemetery.
