Marilee Conner Wildman, 87, formerly of Mexico, passed away on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at Miller's Merry manor, Logansport.
Born Feb. 5, 1924 in Miami County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace Washington Conner.
Marilee graduated from Jefferson Township High School and was employed by J.C. Penny's. Later, Marilee worked at the Mexico Old Folks Home as a nurse's aid and used those skills as she became an aid/companion to four elderly women in the area.
Marilee was a member of the Mexico Church of the Brethren for over seventy-five years.
She leaves behind to mourn her loss one daughter, Nancy Lewis and husband Paul, Peru; one brother Lawrence Conner, Jr. and wife Harriette, Peru; two sisters, Carolyn Conrad, Peru; and Janet Dalman, Holland, MI.
She was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Robert Conrad and Jerry Dalman.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Marilee's memory may make memorial contributions to the Mexico Church of the Brethren.
