Oscar D. (O.D.) was my greatgreatuncle. He was born to Palestine and Sarah Jane NOEL Rogers, in Wayne Co., IL. He was married first to Annie L. DAVIS (buried in Brown Cemetery, Wayne Co, IL)19 Aug 1887 in Wayne Co. Il, and lived in Olney, Richland Co., IL, where he ran a bar. O. D. and Annie had 4 children, a daughter who died in infancy, 3 sons, Freddie who died in infancy(buried at Brown Cemetery, Wayne Co. IL),Clem Rogers and Charlie Rogers.

After Annie's death, he married Margaret YELCH, 15 Apr 1905, in Wayne Co. IL, living in Richland Co. He then moved to Peoria, Peoria, IL, where he owned a grocery store. To this union 4 children were born, 1 girl, Marjorie E. Rogers, and 3 boys, Orvan, Gerald and John.
