David A. "Dee" Coffrin, 94, of Memphis, Missouri, formerly of Wyaconda, Missouri, died May 23, 1996, at Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Missouri.

He was born December 2, 1901, in Wyaconda, Missouri, the son of David and Anna Snyder Coffrin. He married Phillis A. Watson on November 27, 1929, in Clark County, Missouri. She died on August 16, 1988.

He was employed by Electro Metals in Keokuk, Iowa, for many years. He lived the greater part of his life in Wyaconda, Missouri.

Mr. Coffrin is survived by one son, Ferris Coffrin, of Charleston, Illinois; one grandson, Kim Coffrin if Charleston, Illinois; and one granddaughter, Tammy Smith of Mattoon, Illinois; one great grandson and one step grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, CoQuella McCabe.

Graveside services were held May 24, 1996, at the Granger Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Deatrick officiating. Burial was in the Granger Cemetery. Shaffer-Vigen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
